NHMS... WHAT A WEEKEND!
For fans going to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, your tickets will enable you to see the Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Camping World Trucks, NASCAR Whelen Mods, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and the ACT Tour Late Models. Now that is a lot of racing included in a ticket!
TOO MANY GOOD EATS!
Our New England NASCAR weekend is full of so many great spots. We couldn't fit this one on the list but couldn't leave it out!
The Weathervane Tavern
My pal Brian Twist brought us there last year. Between me, Brian and Mike Twist, my brother Bob and Matt "Duke of the Dog" Kentfield, I think we ate enough seafood to support a fishing boat for a week. The owner of the restaurant was so nice that he even prepared a special combination of seafood just for us! Great place, great food and well worth the drive.

KENDRA JACOBS SAYS GO COTTON!
Kendra Jacobs is a racing girl. Her father is a sprint car legend. She does PR in the NASCAR ranks for Mark Martin. We love her because she is a fellow-foodie! She recommends a place called Cotton. "Cotton is an old Frank Sinatra type of cigar bar that is right on a canal. The outdoor patio is great. They have good martinis, locally grown foods. Seriously phenomenal food!" - Kendra

LONNIE IS ON HIS WAY
Lonnie Clouse's Mission has become a permanent fixture on our site. That is because we believe in what he and his family are doing. The former Nationwide Series chaplain (MRO) for several years and his family are moving to Mexico to care for orphans.
They are currently making the long drive to their new home across the border. Please pray for them and support their mission. click here

Squeaky Cheese in Wisconsin
The Common Man
(MD Pick)
Quite possibly MD's favorite place to eat during New Hampshire Motor Speedway race weekend. The old barn building right off the Manchester Street exit in Concord, NC is a great place to dine. Rustic New England charm warms you just as much as their legendary Lobster Corn Chowder. I also love their baked Haddock, which comes with a ritz cracker crust! The white chocolate is to die for!

Kelly's Roast Beef
(Mike Twist Pick - Speed51.com)
"If you are flying into Boston, you can always stop at Kelly's for a great Roast Beef sandwich, fried seafood or even a good burger or hotdog. The original one is north of the airport on Revere Beach and I think it is open 24 hours. You order at the take out window and can eat in your car or on the seawall. Beware the seagulls though. They will swoop in and eat your fries!" - Mike Twist

Mike's Pastry
(MD Pick)
Oh My! If you venture to Boston and don't go to Mike's ... shame on you!!!! I am from NY but will go on record in saying that Mike's has the best cannoli I've ever had! Bakery heaven in the North End of Boston!

Makris
(MD Pick)
It's the closest seafood place from NHMS. So if you are staying at the track swing by. Makris offers good fresh seafood favorites but they are most known for their lobster.

Billy's Sports Bar
(Erick MacPherson - Hauler driver #26 Sprint Cup Series) "Thursday they have a WICKED good meatloaf," says Erick. A lot of us know Erick as "Moose" in the garage area. He's a heck of a guy and knows his food so we will listen to him. Plus, he's not a stick-figure... stick-figures aren't as trustworthy with food-picks. Looking at the menu at Billy's they have a wide assortment of typical pub-fare, sandwiches, various nachos, lamb kabobs, seafood...and yes, wicked good meatloaf! Thanks Moose!

Everyone has their favorite Italian joint in the North End of Boston. This place is pretty darn good! Some may argue there is better, we loved it. A true family place with family portions and prices!

MD & Guest FOOD PICKS!
Red Arrow Diner
(MD Featured Pick)
Voted to be one of the best diners in America, Red arrow lives up to it's billing. A unique and very small building hidden in downtown Manchester, NH, it's a place you have to find. The place is open 24/7 and serves breakfast around the clock as well. Sit at the same table as some famous people too! Adam Sandler has his own burger there. Red Arrow is a favorite of Food Network star Guy Fieri. So if you are doubting our suggestion of Red Arrow Diner, you are simply crazy.
Everything on the menu is awesome. I love to start out with their chili. The Dinamoe burger rules. Oh and try the New England tradition... America Chop Suey. You'll be stuffed. Oh and their deserts are to die for. The cream pies, to eclairs to homemade twinkies... you'll love 'em.
