The Pesto Burger at the Peppermill. The only thing better, is well, umm, maybe the Pastrami Burger at the Peppermill. Seriously folks, this place is good for ANY kind of meal!

Hands down our favorite place to eat, 24-7, in Vegas.
Spotter Mike Herman says, "Are you in search of "Old School Vegas?" Then look no further than the Peppermill, located between the Riviera & Encore on the Las Vegas Strip. Step inside the Fireside Lounge, and you'll go straight back in time to 1972 & the Elvis Years. Whether it's 3am or 3pm, the Peppermill is the coolest ultra lounge in Vegas. Grab a seat by the firepit and unwind by enjoying a famous "Scorpion." If the neon decor looks familiar, just imagine Robert De Niro & Sharon Stone in the movie "Casino." One of the famous scenes with Ace & Ginger was filmed inside the Peppermill.
If you're in search of eats, then stay to the right, and walk into the 24 Hour Restaurant & Coffee Shop. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Peppermill has it all, with big portions that will leave you satisfied."
SUGGESTIONS: The Pastrami Burger, The famous Fruit Plate. Oh, and any Omlette.

The Rusty Pickle
Food Trucks have become one of the most popular fads across America and The Rusty Pickle is one that is making the Vegas scene go "mmmm." Our buddy, NASCAR racer Brendan Gaughan owns the deal and swears it is the bomb. We can't wait to try it! The menu serves up southern favorites in a creative way. Menu items like the "Beeyatch" and the "Fat B@stard" have us already liking it.

Viva Zapata
Want authentic Mexican cuisine in Las Vegas? This is your place. NASCAR.com's Justin Oppman tipped us off to Viva Zapatas. It's a fun place for sure. The ladies make the tortillas in part of the restaurant to where you can watch. It's loud, affordable and fun!

Hash House A Go Go

Working on your portion-control? Haaaa! Stay away from Hash House A Go Go. The place serves monster gourmet dishes that are a unique spin on traditional midwest farm food. Our friends at Racing Electronics introduced us to Hash House. We took the Turner Sports / NASCAR.com folks there during banquet week. Try the Sage Fried Chicken Hardwood Smoked Bacon Waffles! They're breakfast is legendary as well.
Oh... they have a location on the strip but it's worth the drive or cab-ride to go to the location off the strip. We prefer that one! The food seems much better at the off-strip location.

China Poblano
Ok....Speedeats Faithful might know and love a place in Phoenix called Chino Bandido that features a fusion of Asian and Mexican flavors. If you like that, and are making the trip to Vegas, give China Poblano a try. It's not the true character joint like Chino... but this restaurant features cuisines from both cultures (although most seperate). They take reservations and offer a to-go menu! A hip place for the hip foodie!

Michael's Gourmet Room
Michael's has consistently been one of the top restaurants reviewed in Las Vegas. Why does Speedeats include it? Well truthfull for more than just the reviews and tasty dishes. Our buddy, NASCAR driver Brendan Gaughan and his family own the South Point Casino that Michael's is a part of. It's one of Brendan's favorite food spots and should be one of yours too!
